I'm the only English person in our Korean class this month, along with one girl from Poland (who speaks English) a French guy (of Korean descent but born in France, who also speaks English) and 4 Japanese, who don't speak English at all. A few of us normally go somewhere for lunch after class, although the lack of English is no problem as we can communicate fairly well using Korean and I also use Japanese when I can and sometimes English. Also, one of the Japanese guys speaks Chinese so I can also use Chinese. Whilst trying to use 4 languages at once gets confusing, it's not too bad and is much needed practice.
